Our family law team is growing and dynamic. Moreover, Doug, David, and Kendelle work only as BC family lawyers. John, a founding partner of our firm, has worked as a BC family lawyer for decades. He’s also a family law mediator.
John Campbell
John is trial lawyer whose legal practice includes family law matters. In addition to extensive trial experience, he also has extensive alternative dispute resolution experience (ADR). ADR includes mediation and arbitration and John includes these types of dispute resolution options in his family law practice in an effort to better serve clients. In the event ADR doesn’t resolve matters for his clients, he presents his case in Court.
Given John’s penchant for serving clients through ADR methods, he became on of the first BC lawyers to earn accreditation as a BC family law mediator. Therefore, he not only has extensive experience representing family law clients at mediation, he also has experience facilitating mediation sessions.
Doug Simpson
Doug is a partner of our firm and for several years restricted his legal practice to family law. Like John, Doug works with clients to resolve family law matters as quickly and favorably for clients as possible. However, family law is an adversarial process involving the Courts.
When necessary to protect clients’ rights and to advance clients’ cases in the best light, Doug presents his clients’ cases in trial for the Court to resolve.
David Hart
David understands family law as both an advocate a judge. After serving as Provincial Court Judge, David resumed his busy family practice and continues doing so to this day.
In 2011 David was recognized by the Law Society of BC for 50 years’ membership with the Law Society of BC. Many of those years as a busy lawyer was in family law.
Kendelle Pollitt
Kendelle decided on focusing her legal career in family law in 2007. Since then she’s made many appearances in both the Provincial Court of BC and the Supreme Court of BC.
With early experience with the Department of Justice, Kendelle learned valuable advocacy skills which she brings to her family law practice.
